We had a fabulous dinner at Santi in Santa Rosa last night. They had on special a Foie Gras pear and arugula pizza that was swimming in fat. Boy was it great but I could only eat three pieces.

The orders for our pre-harvest 2001 futures are rolling in and I am happy with the sales so far. Monday we start racking, blending our 2010 wines in the barrel again. In July we will bottle most of what we have sold up until then and save the rest to age until a January bottling. We will offer these 2010 16 month aged wines for the first time in July.

We are enjoying the warm weather and the vines are responding and showing some green growth. This is perfect weather for now. It would have to climb into the 100s to do any damage this early in the year.
